The success of small hole drilling operations depends largely on the ability of disposal of produced chips. Their easy ejection from the drilled hole is needed. The author proposed a drilling under the feed with vibration. The effectiveness of this method was investigated by the experimental drilling under the feed with vibration of five different frequencies ranging from 1 to 5 times per revolution and the conventional drilling under the feed with no vibration was also tested. Their amplitude is a half of the feed per revolution. It is concluded that the proposed drilling with vibration of 1 and 3 times per revolution had the ability of forty and thirty times of that of the conventional drilling.
