Abstract

In recent years, a variety of health-related services and events have emerged that may not necessarily have health promotion as their primary goal. However, there is a perceived contribution to overall health. Examples of such activities include Pokémon Go and programs that allow users to earn points. This study analyzed survey results to explore the relationship between gender, age, and health awareness and the use of such services. It was initially hypothesized that younger individuals, who are more physically and mentally active, might be less interested in health. However, the survey results indicated that teenagers exhibited higher exercise habits and health awareness than other age groups. For the long-term promotion and maintenance of health, even if individuals lack a special health consciousness, the active use of health promotion applications and services provided by private companies is expected to have a positive effect, establishing sustainable exercise habits from an early age.
