The performance of the ferroresonant voltage stabilizer connected filter is presented. In carrying out the analysis, phasor method for the linear circuit and discrete Fourier transform for the nonlinear circuit were adopted.
From the results obtained by numerical analysis, the optimum circuit constants which stabilize output voltage and minimize the self capacity of the equipment are shown. Also, it is found that input current and output voltage waveform can be improved under these conditions. These results are confirmed by experiments.
