This article deals with population-stable area in down town, Taito-ku, Tokyo. Through the analysis of physical and social conditions, it was found (1) main reason of the stable population is due to the highrise residential buildings faced on broad street, (2) many residents in them are form nearby, and (3) population in the area have much flow.
