The purpose of this paper is to explain the spatial characteristics of good residential quarter in the local city. This paper choosed Hirosawa-cho in Hamamatsu city at the model of this investigation and considered it through the field survey about the spatial characteristics of residential quarter and analysis of quastionnaire survey for the dwellers in Hirosawa-cho. The followings are concrete contents. 1. The consideration of the spatial characteristics of good residential quarter and social / locational factor of the good residential quarter 2. Forming process of the consideration in Hirosawa-cho as a good residential location model 3. The consideration of physical environment in Hirosawa-cho 4.
