This study examines the effectiveness of methodology as a system to preserve and consolidate open spaces in the cities, and analyses images on urban consolidation and improvement found in 35 regulations enacted by each local government of authority emerged from PDDS through comparing how the Ministry of Construction directs PDDS to function. It consequently identifies that PDDS is advantageous not only for consolidating new open spaces but for applying to the preservation of green spaces and historical buildings dotting in urban context.
