Focusing on the group of bridges constructed by the Reconstruction Bureau after the Kanto Earthquake Disaster in 1923, their structural forms and process of construction were investigated. Considering the temporal and areal distribution of the bridges constructed successively, several historical factors underlying these works were discussed.
