Disordered Magnetic Systems with Competing Exchange and Anisotropy: A Monte Carlo Study

A quenched disordered system A_1−cB_c possessing an easy magnetization plane and exhibiting competing exchange and anisotropy is studied by means of a Monte Carlo simulation. The phase diagram (temperature as a function of concentration c) shows ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic and spin canted phases.
