Abstract

The innovation system is in a big revolutionary period now, because of global competition. The new approach of the Open innovation as antithesis of traditional linear R&D model is on the rise. This research is focused on new approach of the Open innovation, using case studies from the high-tech Semiconductor industry which describes the importance and the role of CTI especially on value creation utilizing external technology and knowledge in the Open innovation. At the end, it presents the competitive advantage necessary for the construction of a technological strategy of the enterprise.
