Modern people often live in a state of tension. The demands for various stress-relieving methods and products are increasing. Therefore, in today's product design, the products with stress-relieving features (hereafter mentioned as "stress-relieving products") and related researches have become important topics and trends for the future. The purpose of this study is mainly to explore the ways of image design and the design characteristics in the shape of the stress-relieving products, and finally, to construct indicators for measuring the perception of the image design of the stress-relieving products. Through the 18 concept products, this research tests the suitability of indicators. Based on the data of the verification, this study infers that the "visual plus tactile" gives the users a higher degree of recognition, and can effectively relieve users' stress. At the same time, stress-relieving product must have an interesting shape, warm colors, and amiable materials. In addition, except for the appeared shape of the product, suitable materials and colors will signify the effect.
