Abstract
The design of the Fuel Injection System is important for a highly rated Diesel Engine, because it gives a great influence for engine performance and reliability. This paper describes simulation techniques of the Fuel Injection System and its industrial application. The simulation techniques have two distinctive features : one is the use of Characteristic Method for numerical analysis, and the other lies with an idea for cavitation phenomena.
