The time has come when students are required to have the ability to keep updating themselves. In the time, it is important for students to be able to actively engage in learning on their own. For support the learning, we developed online chat system powered by Slack and applied it to our 6 chemistry classes in 2020 and 2021. The results showed that the students who used the developed
system showed a tendency to improve their feelings toward their studies and their evaluation of themselves, while those who did not use the system did not show such a tendency
