The present study was undertaken in order to demonstrate that AR (augmented reality) technology was effective on human resource development in agricultural education. Some studies have claimed that many young farmers find it difficult to learn agricultural techniques. Because they have little knowledge or experience in farm work. The problem seems to lie in the fact that the knowledge seekers (young farmers) and knowledge providers are far apart in the fields. What seems to be lacking is real-time information sharing. AR technology has the advantage that them to share information in real time. In this connection, AR technology was found to help young farmers learn agricultural techniques effectively in the fields.
