In the recent five years, we produced some contact-free actuation model without electrical power supply by using diamagnetic graphite (PG) plate. In this phenomenon, it seems that the extremely energy saving contact-free actuation of PG plate is caused by diamagnetic force acting on PG plate sample in the magnetic gradient formed by Halbach PM array and PM pieces. In this paper, we would like to show a static measurement method for the detection of diamagnetic force acting on an asymmetrical PG plate, and we considered preliminary observational results of diamagnetic force for contact-free motion of an asymmetrical PG plate.
