In recent years, attention has been paid to a polymer ultra-thin film having a film thickness controlled to several tens of nanometers or less. Nanosheets have various excellent characteristics such as high adhesiveness and high flexibility, and they are expected to be applied to medical fields and the like. In the future, mass production and high functionality of nanosheets are indispensable for developing in various fields. First, in mass production of nanosheets, we examined the use of water-soluble film as a substrate. By using the water-soluble film, it is possible to omit one step from the conventional manufacturing method in the process of manufacturing the nanosheets. We also studied the use of mesoporous silica in enhancing the functionality of nanosheets. Mesoporous silica has various functions and can be expected to exert a large effect by combining with nanosheets. In this study, mass production of nanosheets using water-soluble film and high functionalization by mesoporous silica were investigated.
