To reduce energy consumption and carbon-dioxide emission, the cogeneration system (CGS) has been expected to contribute. To enhance the efficiency of the CGS and to improve energy conservation with reducing carbon-dioxide emission, we propose a utilization method of energy supply systems including CGS, "Cluster Energy Management System (CEMS)". By clustering 5 campuses of Keio University (Shinanomachi, Mita, Hiyoshi, Yagami, Shonan Fujisawa (SFC)), with introducing appropriate CGS and thermal storage tank in Shinanomachi, the primary energy consumption and carbon-dioxide emission were evaluated. We assumed that CGS is operated at full load and all the heat demand in Shinanomachi campus is supplied from the exhaust heat of CGS. When there is the surplus electricity, it is transported to the other campuses. As a result, the energy conservation of 87 TJ and elimination of carbon-dioxide emission by 9200 t were predicted from the concept of "CEMS" applied 5 campuses of Keio University.
