Recently, an aging society is progressing. Opportunities for vulnerable groups, such as the elderly to ride in an automobile have been increased. It is necessary to improve the ease of egress and ingress. The purpose of this study was to measure experimentally reaction forces and motions at entering and exiting motions of automobile and to quantify the in vivo load by using of a musculoskeletal model, to find out search for relationship between the in vivo load and vehicle factors. We investigate relationships between the in vivo load and vehicle factors relationship, between seat height and performance criteria, and between side sill position and performance criteria.
