The body with flexibility and elasticity in flow undergo fluid force, then deforming its shape. Drag characteristic of such a flexible and elastic body in flow is expected to be different from that of solid body. In this study, we performed the drag measurements using flexible rectangular plates of three different densities, as test pieces. Mainflow velocity was set in the range from 5 m/s to 15 m/s. Drag measurement was performed by using wind tunnel balance. It seems that the drag act on the flexible rectangular plate was increased linearly.
