In this study, we discussed the applicability of site-selective self-assembly of fine-particle on hydrophilic / hydrophobic pattern substrate to various particles materials and diameters. If the particle diameter is larger than 1μm, it was difficult to assemble, while, if the diameter is less than 1μm, they assembled almost independent of diameter and material. By applying higher drawing-up speed than the traditional dip-coating process, the particles are trapped in the extended liquid film and assembly was obtained. We also discussed the effect of the assembly width.
