There are several advantages of the magnesium alloy such as light, high specific intensity, and good recycling. The junction technique of magnesium alloy is needed to use the alloy in the industry target. We studied the bonding of magnesium alloy using the ultrasonic welding. For example, the ultrasonic welding of AZ31/AZ31 can be accomplished under the condition of 30MPa and 4.0s. The welding strength of AZ31/AZ31 welding material was increased with the decrease in a roughness of the horn top. The crystal structure of the magnesium surface was fined by the ultrasonic vibration, and it could not recognize the recrystallization by the thermal effect.
