Equivalent stress-equivalent plastic strain curves of 2024 aluminum alloy thin plates, 1.6 mm in thickness, were obtained by an optimization method using the digital image correlation method and the finite element method. Notched plate specimens with a radius of 30 mm were used for quasi-static tensile tests. The equivalent stress-equivalent plastic strain curve of piecewise linear model was determined by an optimization method. The correction factor of optimized equivalent flow stresses and initial true stresses was proposed.
