Energy Harvesting from ambient vibration has been in the spotlight recently. Specially it is beneficial in wireless sensor network for factory automation, where battery replacement of the device placed in the structure or machinery is troublesome. Sheet type Vibration Energy Harvesting device based on inverse magnetostrictive effect is investigated. Amorphous material ribbon, Metglas 2605SA1 is used for our investigation. Harvesting device is made with flexible board technology. Magnetostrictive material ribbon is sandwiched by two flexible circuits boards, which form pickup coil. Consequently, 10μW/0.01cc at 732Hz is obtained with impedance matching mode. Also power control circuit block is developed, 6.5 μW and 64% as AC to DC transform efficiency are obtained respectively.
