Mobile experience of infant stage is said to be important for one to encourage the development of cognitive faculty. However, children with impaired motor function are difficult to move oneself. This paper shows our first step of the development of the omnidirectional vehicle. By using this vehicle, handicapped children are able to move around their environment independently. We think that omnidirectional movement is joyful and may be increase the effect of rehabilitation.
