Though the prosthetic foot-ankle unit and the lower extremity orthosis provide the quality of life(QOL) to lower limb amputees, the structural design criterion of them for mechanical safety has never been established. For the purpose of structural analysis, we aim at the construction of the cyclic load testing device for prosthetic foot-ankle unit. This paper describes the design of the foot-mounted 3-axis force sensor unit under the condition of the maximum compressive force of 130.0 [kgf].
