In this paper, we evaluate the cutting conditions for the standing trees, to improve productivity of felling manipulator. For cutting experiments, we made the experiment machine run up in stages the spindle speed. We cut the standing trees of indeterminate physical properties, with the specialized cutting tool, and conduct the cutting experiment while changing the spindle speed and feed speed. In cutting standing trees to measure the cutting force is difficult with the force sensor, and therefore, we calculate the reaction force from the motor current value in the feed drives. We made the experiment machine and confirmed the effectiveness of changing the cutting conditions in order to improve productivity, through cutting experiment.
