This paper reports on the development of a micro-channel device applying the mechanical stimulus to a large number of cells and nucleuses. Many researches have reported that the mechanical stimulus is important factor of the histogenesis and cellular differentiation. But, the mechanical stimulus response of the nucleus is not clearly understood. For the analysis, there are needs to get a large number of cells and nucleuses under the mechanical stimulus. Therefore, we develop a micro-channel device by nanofabrication technology. This device is able to apply the mechanical stimulus to a large number of cells. Using this device and NIH3T3 cell, we succeed in observing that cells and nucleuses are deformed in the channel. In addition, the cell collection is confirmed in this setting.
