Combining LabVIEW with OpenCV

Computer Vision has become increasingly important in science as well as in everyday life. The purpose of this project is to determine how to combine OpenCV functions with LabVIEW. NI Vision OpenCV Utilities is here the important interface between C++/OpenCV code and LabVIEW. This interface has been tested, involving the use of images, arrays and single values. This paper shows how the interface works in an example, which is multiple template matching. Template matching is an important feature of Computer Vision, as it is mandatory to find features in images. This paper presents a LabVIEW program interfacing with an OpenCV to perform template matching.
