In this study, we evaluated the focal distance of an acoustic lens with an integrated microfluidic device. The method using an acoustic lens enables cell manipulation with high generating force and high spatial resolution. Some groups have proposed an acoustic lens to achieve cell manipulation. In previous studies, acoustic lenses focus acoustic wave at a single point and treat one target cell at a time. Continuous manipulation is challenging with conventional systems. Therefore, we proposed an acoustic lens integrated with a microfluidic device for high-power and high-throughput cell manipulations. In acoustic lens design, it was necessary to evaluate the focal distance of the fabricated acoustic lens to focus the acoustic focal point on cells. Therefore, we measured the focal distance of 15 mm and 20 mm lens. Additionally, we confirmed whether the focal distance depends on the applying frequency.
