The 1st FRP symposium were held on 27-28, March, 1972 at the Osaka Science and Technical Center. This record summarizes the note of the panel discussion. The theme of the discussion was "Reliability of the Strength of FRP and it's Design" chaired by Dr. S. Shimamura. Also the following members were nominated as panellers:
