A number of problems caused by emotional underdevelopment in the infants are reported by people directly involved with education. Infantile color environment is one of the most important elements for the character formation and creating emotional stability. In order to test the influence of color environmental conditions on color sense, we have conducted a hue and tone acceptability test to nursery schools under different conditions. We then examined the results. From the test results, we have found that differences in color enviroumental conditions cause differences in sensitivity to colors. More fainiliarization with natural materials and hues and tones effectively helps infants to develop delicate and enriched senses.
