Korean homes have seen not only changes in planned construction, but changes in the significance of the rooms, the role of space, the furniture that is included, and finished materials. Concerning the changes in the rooms, the following results have bcen acquired through this research : 1) The an-bbang is changing from the parent's room, and space for religious service concerning one's ancestors, through bedroomification. 2) A loss of and functional composition of the religious service of the geosil. 3) Extension of kitchen space and DK-ification. 4) A rise in the importance of the study and hobby room, along with fixing of cbair seating in children's rooms. 5) The attaching of importance on the area the fainily gathers more than on public areas.
