Discussion about how users operate the device and the software is very important to design user interface. UI designers draw somekind of "flow chart" to analyse user's operation, and to design the system specification and behaviour.In this study we reserch about the "flow chart" in the. design project. Interview with designers about "flow chart" and the design process discribed the following point. 1.The "flow chart" is a kind of time line chart, and designers have to find another view point to design information structure of the s ystem. 2. Designers draw some type of "flow chart" in each process in the design project.
