わが国におけるファッションイラストレーションとファッションデザインの関連

The authors proposed that the whole stream of Fashion Illustration should be rearranged in three streams; "Jojouga" (lyric drawing), Fashion Illustration (in narrow sense) and "the Style Drawing or Fashion Drawing." This paper discusses the relation between Fashion Illustration and fashion design in Japan. As the results, a hypothesis that "Fashion Illustration is often influenced by fashion design." is examined and the fashion design has a great influence on the expression of Fashion Illustration. To put it concretely, the influence of fashion design tends to occur in the mood in "Jojouga., " in the expression of a person and the whole construction of picture in Fashion Illustration (in narrow sense), in the proportion of a person and silhouette in "the Style Drawing or Fashion Drawing, " respectively.
