This is the purpose of the fundamental study that service institutions should be in the region, This study is about the convenience stores which are the small scale retail stores.These stores have developed rapidly in these days. As a survey for this study, it is important that whole numbers of the convenience stores in the selected area of Fukuoka city are investigated and that the factors of setting up these stores are clarified. And this survey showed that there are two factors of setting up such stores.One factor is the"convenience for the people who use cars and pass this area."And another one is the"convenience for the people who live in this area, " From now , a survey of the rerationship between the human be-havior and the factors of setting up the conveniens stores wil1 be continued.
