In the Part 2 study, we arranged the details of the projects from the following four aspects : "C : Control (flood control)", "P : Pleasure (water amenity)", "U : Utilization (water-utilization)" and "K : Keep (preservation of water)", and categorized the present projects of area along rivers. Finally we analyzed the tendency of the present projects by reviewing the historical transition of civil engineering, As a result, we have been able to verify the fact that the projects have been sifted from a functional improvement of "C"and "U" to that of "P". In view of the historical transition of civil engineering, we found that the Preservation of water along rivers needs further improvement.
