The purpose of this study is to develop a design approach to artifacts from life-cycle design viewpoint under network computing ages. This paper focuses a design approach and the tools to be realized proposed design approach for designer. Based on life-cycle of artifacts with human, spiral design is the proposed design approach to artifacts under network computing ages. To realize spiral design approach, SD matrix and SD framework are proposed as tools for designer. SD matrix is the tool to adapt all users and all user experience of life-cycle. SD frame work is the tool to produce various artifacts to adapt all users.
