Typography in the newspapers improve as the time move forward due to the advancement in technology, societies general knowledge and the level of formal education. Due to the availability of advance computer and software for creating typefaces, designer are able to create a typefaces for a specific requirements. Thus, the demand to cut cost and the environmental issues in newspapers are able to be addresed by designing the typefaces according the given requirements. Even when newspapers reduced it size but still wanting the same amount of information with the previous size, this expectations are able to be manage by designers by employing certain specifically design typefaces. Condensed form of typeface seem to be the most promising way to fit as much text on a page as possible. Sans Serif typefaces have become more popular with newspapers that want a fresher and more modern look, but the choices are very limited. This is where and why the research and design study come in place.
