produced propaganda animation. Before World War II, Disney Studios prospered due to the success of
feature-length animation, but due to the effects of the war, the production of dream and magic animations was frozen, and instead they produced animations to promote the war. As a result, it was forced to survive
as a company. And during the war, it was Donald Fauntleroy Duck, famous as a Disney cartoon character
with a duck as a motif.
Donald Duck was the main character in Disney's national policy animations during the war. Disney's most iconic character is Mickey Mouse. However, even though Mickey Mouse has been used in advertising
posters, etc., it does not appear in national animation. Why was it Donald Duck instead of Mickey Mouse?
