In this study, people who support the multifaceted functions of agricultural regions,
especially high school students, will participate in agricultural experience activities in
Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, environmental protection efforts in Fujioka City, and
international exchange activities between Gunma Prefecture and Asian countries. The
purpose of this study is to focus on rural community formation in agricultural areas through
a use of agricultural technology, and to demonstrate its effects. The intention is to utilize
the knowledge obtained to revitalize agricultural regions.
Human capital, mainly high school students, that exists in agricultural areas can
improve communities by utilizing social capital such as farmland, parks, waterways, and
agricultural high schools, as well as natural capital such as mountains, rivers, and living
creatures that live in rural areas. The formation was confirmed. It has become clear that
community formation may lead to a sustainable food supply, contribution to the environment,
and the formation and maintenance of local communities.
