In late years Autopsy imaging (Ai) attracts attention. Ai is the concept that matched autopsy with postmortem imaging in a wide sense. On the other hand, Ai is postmortem imaging itself in a narrow sense. I explain a role of Ai when a clinician makes a death certificate. Specifically, I introduce examples of Ai which I experienced, tips about examination for Ai-CT and interpretation.
