Mosses of Seram and Ambon Islands are reported based on our collections of the botanical expeditions to the islands. This paper is the eighth part of our report. It includes Meteoriaceae (6 genera and 8 species) , Hookeriaceae s. str. (i.e, excluding the members of Daltoniaceae) (5-15), and Trachypodaceae (1-1).
