Eleven cases of old fractures and non-union of the intracapsular femoral neck were operated with MK-pins (hook pins). The average age of the patients was 80.1 years, and the shortest elapsed time after fracture was 25 days and the longest 8 months. The fractures united in all cases but one, and the results were satisfactory. The authors emphasized that the MK-multiple pinning should be considered as the first choice of treatment for old fracture and non-union of the intracapsular femoral neck.
