Community farming organizations can enhance the farming human capital of younger labor forces either by augmenting ''learning by doing" experiences in their farming, or by inducing the participation of those laborers in the training programs offered by agricultural extensions or other educational services. This paper defines optimal human investment policy for community farming organizations as the combination of these two measures that maximizes the economic surplus of community farming in the long run. The paper illustrates how the combination of the measures in the optimal policy varies with the labor capability of elderly laborers in those farming organizations.
