One hundred and ten cases of so-called Thornwaldt's disease observed in our clinic between 1962 and 1964, of which 6 interesting cases were discussed in regard to definition, etiology, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment. Thorough examinations of the epipharynx were employed on such patients with postnasal drips and dull occipital headache, in order to briing a correct diagnosis.
Incision and curettage of the cysts were proved to be of significant value for better prognosis. Importance of careful examination of the epipharynx has been stressed.
