In this report, we have prepared CexZr1-xO2 (x= 0.5, 0.75 and 1) nanoparticles under supercritical conditions in the presence of water and polyethylene glycol. As prepared and calcined (800-1000oC) particles showed diameter size less than 5-30 nm observed by TEM with cubic morphology for CexZr1-xO2(X=1) and sphere morphology for CexZr1-xO2(X= 0.5 and 0.75) nanoparticles. Further, size and specific surface area results of the as prepared and calcined samples were measured by BET analysis. The UV-DRS spectra and OSC (Oxygen Storage Capacity) were measured. The as prepared samples exhibited high OSC value.
