A plate-like titanate K0.80Ti1.733Li0.267O4 was coupled with nitrogen doped titania (TiON) by the hydrothermal reaction. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, UV-vis and BET analysis, and the photocatalytic activities were evaluated by deNOx reaction. The coupling of these two compounds showed significant effect in enhancing the photocataltytic activities under visible light irradiation.
