To investigate the lead-free piezoelectric materials, we have tried to make BCT-SCT solid solution system because the BCT-SCT system is expected to show a high Tc and a low leakage current density. The BCT-SCT ceramic disks were prepared using the conventional ceramic processes and fired between 1100 ~ 1250 oC. The tetragonal structure was observed in the prepared compositions. The prepared BCT-SCT samples showed better dielectric and leakage properties than the BCT samples.
