We have successfully synthesized the first single crystals of an ion-exchanged layered Dion-Jacobson perovskite. The assembly shows a pseudo-tetragonal lattice with an orthorhombic structure Pbam. The perovskite slabs have octahedral tilting along the a axis, rendering the magnetic layers distort significantly. This new structural model provides clues for a relevant description of its magnetic properties.
