Searching for new phosphors in Eu2+-activated alkali aluminosilicate series prepared by solution based parallel synthesis approach

In the search of new phosphor, Eu2+-activated aluminosilicate series was prepared by solution based parallel synthesis combined with polymerizable complex method along with the use of water soluble silicon (WSS). Among the MAlSixOy:Eu2+(M = Li, Na and K) series, Eu2+ activated NaAlSixOy with x = 0.5 (blue), 1 (yellow-green) and 1.5 (yellow-green) were discovered with emission peak maxima at 473nm, 553nm and 552 nm, respectively.
