The well-known VWT/ VT material was investigated as resistive type sensing material for SO2. Self-prepared powders were characterized by XRD, BET and SEM and their response to SO2 was monitored. For VT powders, increase of V2O5 loadings also enhances the sensitivity but increase the response time.
